In writing, we watched a video about Romeo and Juliet. The reason why we watched the video is so we can know more or less what the story is about. We also learned how to speak in Shakespeare. When we know how to speak a little bit we acted as part of the video out. Every person in our group had a role to play and what to say, we also used a script. When we finished it, we made an animation to tell the story. I really enjoyed watching this love story.

The Great Plague.

Today we did our presentation on the Great Plague. We created a slide to share a short summary about what we learned.  I shared my learning with the class about how the Doctor's would wear a crows mask, and used leeches to clean the blood of people infected with the plague. They also advised people to smoke tobacco to help keep the disease away. I found it interesting that they painted a red cross on the front door to let everyone know there was plague in the house and how the people said (Lord, have mercy on us). There were lots of interesting facts to learn and I really enjoyed learning about the Great Plague.
