Phonics 'ot' chunk

I like hotdogs a lot. I like to eat it with garlic sauce, mustard and catch up. We will make a lot of it when we are going to the beach or on a trip. Hotdog is part of our African food. It is super tasty that's why I love it. 

Today we learned a new chunk (ot). We wrote all the ot words , then wrote the meanings of some words then we underline all ot in the words.

What I can offer my new school

I wonder how my new school is going to be? I wonder what I am going to learn ? My school for 2020 will be Tamaki College. I very much look forward to being there. I'm a good student and I like to work hard so I know I will be an asset to them. 

I like sports a lot, especially dance and netball. I also love to meet new kids and show them around the school. I like to help them make new friends because the same thing happened to me so I know how that felt. I think I am a very good student because I want to help teachers and help children. I am a student who loves to learn new things and am also a hard working student. I like to do tests because I like to set myself new challenges.

I am looking forward to starting my new learning journey at Tamaki College.

Water Filtering

We were able to work in group to make the water filters. We had to use materials to filter the dirty water. Ours took a very long time to go through, but it was the cleanest. I have really enjoyed the experience to work with people I don't know and to learn new things.
