Phonics 'op' chunk

This week we went to the shop. We had to buy a lot of things like popcorn and lollipops. When we went into the shop the shopkeeper walked towards us and said.. “Hi.” My brother wanted to buy a car but then he dropped it. So we had to buy it. I ended up getting nothing, but I didn’t really care because all I need is my family and God.


Today for phonics we circled all the "op" words in a story and we found there were 13 words. We looked up 3 words in the dictionary that started with 'op'and found the meanings, we then wrote our paragraph with the 'op words we found. To end our phonics we answered questions from a short story.

Phonics 'ook' chunk

I went to my grandmas house to cook. As I stepped in the house I went straight to the bookcase, when I got there I reached for the cookbook. I took the cookbook and passed it onto my Grandma. We spent the whole day cooking and baking in the kitchen, we made delicious chocolate chip cookies and soup.


Today we listened to a story and our challenge was to find all the words that had ook in them.

Phonics 'En' Chunks

To day we have learned how to correct the sentence punctuation. The sentence I corrected was missing capital letters and full stops.
